‘Ancestry’ is an experiential weaving of indigenous & contemporary sound healing soundscapes by Taylor Sol. Experience an immersive sound journey of 22 songs with the Native American flute, handpan, shamanic drum, taonga puoro, djembe and more! The intention of ‘Ancestry’ is to acknowledge and share the ancient and contemporary art of sound vibrational healing. With deep reverence, the soundscape journey of ‘Ancestry’ is an experiential weaving of indigenous & contemporary sound healing transmissions. Ancestry also reflects a story of the souls journey from source consciousness, to stepping down the layers and levels of the 12 dimensional tree of life to incarnating into earth as a human in this reality. This album reflects a personal remembrance of my past incarnations which are expressed throughout the album. Ancestry is a merging of many things, a dual energetic and physical story intertwined together. The healing sounds in this album draws upon ancient ancestral vibrations played in 432hertz (the miracle tone of nature), used by the Egyptians and monks in ancient times for healing purposes, and contemporary sound played in 440hertz, commonly used throughout contemporary everyday music. In summary, ‘Ancestry’ symbolises a bridging of worlds, bridging the old with the new, 432hertz with 440hertz, ancient sound with contemporary sound, masculine with the feminine, humanity with source consciousness, and finally physical ancestry with energetic ancestry. All of these dualities encompass an intention of coming together to polarity integrate all aspects of life, all cultures, the shadow and the light, the soul and the souls journey unified in love as one.
